Founder Biography
Count Cesare Mattei (1809–1896)
Born in Bologna, Italy, Count Cesare Mattei was an aristocrat, philosopher, and medical researcher. In 1865, after years of intensive study into botanical active principles and Paracelsus's Spagyric alchemy, Mattei founded Electrohomeopathy at his grand castle, La Rochetta.
Count Cesare Mattei (1809–1896) was an Italian nobleman, politician, and herbal researcher who invented Electrohomeopathy in 1865 at his famous stronghold, Castle of La Rochetta near Bologna, Italy. Mattei devoted his life to discovering a purely natural therapeutic system that harnessed the bio-electric force of plants (Spagyric essences) to purify human lymph and blood.
